Thanks for posting, Jeff. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I just showed it to some of the non-rail-oriented museum staff at Thronateeska Heritage Center and now they understand how the RPO picked up the mail "on the fly".

We are in the process (finally!!) of painting our ACL RPO 13 and should have the paint finished by the end of next week, weather permitting. Stencilling and clear-coat to follow after that. Unfortunately, the interior was gutted for Seaboard Coast Line MOW service so that is not likely to be restored. If anyone has a mail hook they would be willing to part with at least we could interpret catching mail.

Please contact me off line if you know of an available hook. I would appreciate it very much.
