The LIRR backshop/machine shop (which was over 100 years old !) located in Richmond Hill, Queens has recently been razed.

Are the roundhouse and coaling tower also going? The photos show a surprisingly complete coaling tower.

The coaling tower is long gone. I don't know the fate of the roundhouse.
