What is the current status of Oakland, California's 16th Street Station. It was damaged in the 1989 earthquake, but never torn down. Are there any plans to save it?

bob, This news is at least a year old, but yes the building was saved sort of. The xterior will remain historically collect and the interior will be put to a non-rail use. An art school is suggested and similar uses. If I hear any more, I'll try to remember to let you know.
