They recently received a dyno car from BN to use on their trains - it can be seen in part in the photo in the article. From what I understand this is a nice operation, and is near Minneapolis.

It is a delightful operation, and well worth the drive to visit. They'll be open and under steam on October 18th.

This is an interesting place, being a totally privately owned collection, that is, I believe, only open to the public occasionally. It's also completely landlocked, with no rail connection. Because of this and the bridge load limits on the county roads leading to it, all the steamers are dinky little toys; I believe the loco in the photo is a de-tanked 0-4-0T. However, the Thompson brothers have acquired some amazing pieces of rolling stock, the crown jewel is a Northern Pacific "superintendents car" which is a caboose sized private car dating back at least to the 1890's. This was the type of car used for lower ranking officials when there were absolutely no accommodations in the raw frontier towns quickly building along the new railroad, and may well be the only car of this type still in existence.

If you are in the Twin Cities area when they are open, it is definitely worth a look.
