Not too long ago the museum's red subway cars were tagged and vandalized, which is odd, as they are not exactly in a downtown urban area, and one would need a car to get there. Good to know that their equipment will now have a place under cover. Unfortunately I think it is too late to save some of the wooden cars that sat too long out in the elements. They have an ex Pere Marquette wooden caboose that would have made a nice companion to 1225, but has sat for years decaying, as have the old wooden boxcars. On a more positive note, the museum has some really nice operating pieces, such as a Jewitt Interurban, snow sweepers, PCC cars, lots of older TTC cars, and their track is in good shape, likely as good or better than a lot of branchlines.
