The ABPR site pages for 9/31/01 and 10/1/01 have new and old photos of what I presume is the Kansas City Terminal roundhouse in that city. There appear to be renovations going on, but for what purpose? Haven't heard of any proposed rail museums there, so presume it is to become a restaurant, lawyers office or some other misbegotten idea. The roundhouse once handled passenger power for several RRs running into KC's Union Station. Anyone know what is going on?

Bob,

I've been on site on several occassions last year. There's some type of restoration occurring to the roundhouse, but I can't tell for what purpose. On the property adjacent to the roundhouse, there is a new building being constructed for some type of industrial park. Perhaps this is part of that park. Turntable is still there.

God Bless,
