She is currently "down" receiving scheduled boiler work along with a bit of running gear and cosmetic work including replateing the side rods. She still wears the paint shown in the photo... The loco worked for Sacramento Brick from 1889 until the late 1940's then sold to Hal Wurlmunder. So, roughly 60 years in service, then 60 years preserved. Hal gave it to his son, Les, who has since given it to his son Casey... (dad still controls the loco...)

She has run at Ardenwood (http://www.spcrr.org) Labor Day weekend for the last several years, but missed this year.

For a 120 year old she is strangely original, and very functional... (and a blast to run)
