Hi Folks,

A labour dispute left me with some free time today, which I used to clear the backlog of stuff to load onto my website, principally 6167 news and photos.

However, its been a busy summer, and CNR 6077 and CNR 1531 have also been in the news, and I've got photos of both engines.

For your consideration I present:

I just wanted to point out that CNR 6077's cosmetic restoration made for a good example on how NOT to sand-blast a locomotive, and that CNR 1531 provided a good example of how to move a ten-wheeler.

Joe, some interesting links there. It is too bad that 6077 did not have her Asbestos removed at the time as it will only come back to haunt them as the jacketting deteriorates.
