Post subject:  Appaloosa (the movie)

OK, who know the loco used in this one? It seems to be a standard gage oil-burning 2-6-0, the two coaches are built on steel flatcars (the ride control trucks are a bit out of period...), and it looks like a southwestern desert/low mountain area where the rail scenes were filmed.

Do tell.

Thanks, Jim. I suspected it might have been the Reader engine; not too many operational small BLW 2-6-0s around these days.
