So, has this car been re-gauged to Baltimore gauge? What paint will it wear when done? What are the plans for the car? (a Philly car in a Baltimore Museum, or a stand in for a Baltimore car?)

Yes, it has been regauged by BSM volunteers.

1970's-era SEPTA orange/white/blue "Gulf Oil" livery.

Either regular or occasional operation at BSM as a SEPTA car. This particular car is being sponsored by a group called Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys (see http://home.comcast.net/~trolleydriver/FPT.htm) and will be kept as a Philadelphia car.

Frank is correct on all points. The body work is being done by contracted labor paid for by the Friends of the Philadelphia Trolleys.
