Hey everyone,
I usually tend to stay quiet and learn from the experts out there.....A lot of good information has come across this board as well as keeping tabs on streetcar/interurban preservation. That being said, please let me introduce myself, I am Steve Loitsch, a memeber of the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven, CT (OK Seashore Trolley Museum as well). I have recently volunteered to try and help with fundraising and researching the history of, Union Street Railway (New Bedford, MA) Railway Post Office Car #302. The Board of Trustees has appoved fundraising efforts so we are good there. After reading Frank Hicks' blog on the CA&E cars out at IRM I decided to give the same thing a try for #302. I am currently serving in the armed forces in Virginia, so I am not on site in Connecticut as much as I would like. Updates to the status of the car will be coming from memebers working on the car. OK enough of my babbling, here is the link to the blog:

Hope you enjoy & feel free to contact me...

Steve,

You say that the car is at Seashore; it is in one of the public car barns? I have never seen it in many trips to the museum.

Another Ted who likes electric cars.
