I see my very first message on this board was pulled because I came to close to flaming someone. Well i'm sorry. as you can see I used my real name and a real e-mail address you can reach me at. I've been involved with railway preservation since I was 14 years old. I'm 38 now and run a locomotive repair and rebuilding business for a living.I'm also vice-president mechanical for a historical railway. We have the same problems as everyone else here who is actively involved in the preservation field. My basic frustration comes from those who sit back and complain but aren't willing to step up to the post and do something to make things better. If everyone took that stance there would be NO EQUIPMENT left to enjoy. right wrong or indifferent at least the hands on people saved something to complain about. In my humble opion if your not part of the solution your part of the problem. irss@eriecoast.com |
