Valley's "new" locomotive was loaded last Tuesday.
A short artical with photos can be found on "The Enginehouse Blog" at http://www.essexsteamtrain.com
Jack Swanberg, author of "New Haven Power 1838-1968" has donated a pair of class lights for the locomotive. One of the lights was once used on New Haven No. 3016, the "last" New Haven steam locomotive.

Thanks for the update. Please keep us posted. I was a little surprised the wheels had enough wear that they need turning. I guess she racked up some miles.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.

J. David,

Congratulations and best wishes on the move. Having "been there, done that", I know conditions were not favorable to the task at hand.
