Hello everyone. I am looking for drawings/blueprints of the ALCO 244 prime mover, preferably the 12 cylinder version, model doesn't matter. Where might I find something like this? Thanks - Jared |

Are you looking for a line drawing of the side of the engine or a end drawing showing the outline of the parts. I have a end drawing showing the different parts. Send me an e-mail offline and I can send you a copy of what I have. It is on letter size paper so it can be mailed as an attachment to you. John Mech |

What I'm looking for is a full set of blueprints, detailing every part and every dimension, something that could be used to reproduce parts. Thanks - Jared |

I don't have those. I am not even sure who might have that kind of blueprints. What parts do you need? Why not just search and buy them used? |

The remaining Alco 244 engine drawings, along with material relating to the locomotives themselves, were disposed of when GE purchased what remained of the d/e loco business from Bombardier. DPK |

Actually, What I'm looking to do is reproduce the parts in a slightly smaller size, I already know where to find all the 244 parts I could ever handle, should the need ever arise again. Thank you all for your help thus far - Jared |
