I have owned and restored several heavyweight business/private cars. I am now looking for a nice 1910-1930 HVYWT with wood interiors, for my personal use, which is not a total project. I want to use the car while I work on it. I am able to rescue cars from any part of the country. Not interested in any Amtrak cars, due to intended use will not justify the cost.

IF anyone would like support or questions answered about their own PV project, I am pretty
experienced and may be able to help or point to
help.

I know of many older passenger cars which are special and unique and need saving. IF you are looking for such an item, send an email or call me at 248-244-1453 days est.

Doug, you might try talking to the family of the late rr illustrator Russ Porter. There was a picture in a recent issue of Railroad Model Craftsman showing a truus rod busines car owned by Russ and family. Often when the interested person passes on these cars end up with a dubious fate. just a thought
