The pace has picked up as we start to move out of our old facilities in favor of a new campus. There is no turning back: our volunteers dropped a section of the overhead wire at Dodge Loop on Saturday December 13. A contractor begins to lift rail starting on December 18 and we will move the four remaining streetcars, RMC tamper and Plasser crane by truck on Monday. An interesting highlight was a night work session on Monday to pave our new driveway. A combination of favorable weather and contractor availability led to the unusual work hours.
