And they also used to stand between the cars in Chicago as well. |

True; I would agree with the New York assessment though because Chicago "L" cars generally didn't have marker lights protruding from the roof as shown in the illustration. That was more a hallmark of Brooklyn Rapid Transit and Interborough Rapid Transit in New York. |
