I saw this on and it say it's at Brooklyn. I assume it is hanging out with 4449 and 700. It looks too small to be that of the UP pacific. Does anyone know who she belongs to?

Looking at some of the other pics in that collection I think that's just a painting?

Not paintings - HDR images. Really cool - some of my favorite photos are HDR.

Does it belong to the Pacific?

I don't think so. Just looking at pics of the Pacific's boiler and the mystery boiler they do not seem to be the same (the firebox's, domes, headlight mounting, and lengths do not seem to match up). Also, this boiler is in quite rough condition it seems, whereas as I recall 197 has her original boiler. Could this be from Kepner's collection or a museum/park?

The topic of this loco was addressed on Trainorders last summer- not sure how definitive the discussion was, but here's a link:

It is the boiler to the Lee Tidewater Cypress #16 owned by a well known person in the steam world. He has done great things with engines in the past and i know he will do the same with this one. It is their in Brooklyn until it can be moved to be rebuilt. It is NOT part of the Kepner collection.
