Dr. Parker is a professor of Urban Planning at Ball State University in Muncie Indiana. Dr. Parker is the author of 2 books on Indiana Railroads. •Railroads of Indiana - co-authored with Richard S. Simons, Bloomington, Indiana, University of Indiana Press, 1997. •Indiana Railroad Depots: A Threatened Heritage. 1989. B.S.U. Press Some might know Dr. Francis Parker for his work with the Indiana Transportation Museum in Noblesville Indiana and the Whitewater Valley Railroad in Connersville Indiana.
