McMylers and Huletts still with us

OK, OK, one more list today....

George H. Hulett gave us two of the railroad marine world's coolest giant toys: the Hulett Car Dumper Machine (better known as the McMyler Dumper) and the Hulett Unloader Machine (or just Hulett's).

So, my friends in the east and on the Great Lakes, how many of these exist?

The Reading RR's Port Reading, NJ dumping facility is all intact down to the thawing the sheds. The wood work is shot, but the McMyler stands proud.

The McMylers on the Reading in Port Richmond, PA and the Lehigh Valley at Perth Amboy, NJ have left beind only concrete monoliths that supported thier kick-back tracks.

Any others still standing?

I understand the Cleveland Huletts are in "storage." What a crime. There were Huletts in Ashtabula, OH, no? Amy others still with us?

I have heard that there are two Huletts south of Chicago, somewhere in the vicinity of Calumet City. Sorry, I don't know anything else...

There is a Hulett movable car dumper at Wheeling Pitt Steel in Mingo Junction. I also have some engineering drawings and old photos of Hulett dumpers in Youngstown, Ohio.
