Other income streams for your museum are GoodSearch and GoodShop, recently promoted on Good Morning America.

If your museum is a 501 (c) (3), then it might consider registering with the websites listed below. GoodSearch, powered by Yahoo, pays a small fee to the selected charity every time someone searches. GoodShop pays a commission on any item purchased on-line from various well known vendors such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, PriceLine, Barnes & Noble, Target, Banana Republic etc. Payout occurs at end of year.

There are 74,000 nonprofits in this program, IRM being one of them—perhaps there are other rail museums on the list as well.
