Does anyone know of a source or manufacturer of Pullman Lounge chairs. I need to find them for the lounge section of our former Erie Diner/Lounge car. Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society ![]() tstuy@eldcps.org |

Those lounge chairs look like some art-deco chairs that I saw at the Antique Shop in East Market in Detroit last week. The chrome-ish arms are dead giveaways. I don't recall any sort of pullman marking on them, however. I guess I just wrote them off as thirty ot forties living room chairs. I did see an ashtray much like that one at the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti trains show this weekend as well. Let me try and get some more info on that one at least. This does raise a very good point; maybe those of us who do go through antique/ junque shops might want to keep an eye out for "car parts" their as well. I've probably seen light fixtures more than anything, but from now on I think I'll FYI on the board if I find something significant. TJG TJG Port Huron Museum ![]() peremarquette@hotmail.com |
