Post subject:  ArtTrain and Ann Arbor, MI question

A question about the now-departed ArtTrain: does anyone know the name of the storage location they used to use along Main Street in Ann Arbor, MI? Charter Wire also stored their cars there from time to time as well. Are any cars still being stored there?

Thanks.

I don't know that this facility ever had a name, but it was empty when I drove by sometime late last year.

Now that Artrain is Artruck, it would make a primo private-car park for someone who wanted to keep their porchcar in Ann Arbor.

As a side note, the roller-coaster interchange track between the NYC and AA has been torn up.

In a second side note, as a sometime donor to Artrain I got a mailing explaining their shift of mode, pointing out that the general removal of sidings and spurs made it unworkable to use a train for their portable art museum. This is a good illustration of the relative importance of mission and medium.
