Just got a D.F.Barnhardt catalog for their big railroad equipment auction. Location: Andalusia, Alabama. Has a b&w photo...looks like it is restorable, and not that bad from the outside. It was sold there around 1980 at auction for $15,000.00. I was there and saw it bid off. It was fired up the day of the sale, and had a very obvious ASME stamp on the backhead. |

I noticed in the Barnhardt catalogue that a former Pennsylvania RR class PK wooden day coach will also be going up to auction. Evidently it was deaccessioned from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Does anyone know when this car was built and how it ended up in Dearborn, Michigan? Just curious! K.R.
