I wonder if any one has a picture or drawing of a device for assembling the non pressure head over the piston hollow rod?

I used one at Railcar Nebraska (Omaha) that was stuck in the back of the shop. It was basically an air cylinder on a bracket. You set the piston and hollow rod on, put the return spring over it, place the seal and swab in the non pressure head, place it over the spring and partially compress it. Then the air cylinder would push the whole works together so that you could install the pin and retaining bolts. It was pretty simple. I never took a picture of it but was always going to build one at my shop. I just wonder if I should make the top non pressure head holding piece moveable on pins perhaps?

Thanks in advance,
Pat Connors

Call Bill Jubek at Pittsburgh Air Brake. He made a batch of manual ones fifteen years ago,I have one and it works great. It does have a moveable fulcrum pin for different length assemblies, and a pilot piece to place in the hollow rod so the swab goes down nice and even.
