Does anyone know if ALCo had Engineering Standards and Shop Practices ala the Baldwini Locomotive Works? If so, where can a copy of them be obtained?

Oh, I mean stuff for steam powered locomotives.

Mark, your post jogged my brain- up to my meager archives ~and~ indeed I have a binder filled with old photostat pages that is titled" American Locomotive Company Engineering Dept. Standard Practice",May 26th 1920, - Miscellaneous Index to Standard Classification" (Groups 1-99 each covering different components standards).Probably about 100 pages more or less.

Is there a particular item you are after, maybe I could look it up ?
