Showtime is premiering a new movie they commissioned on A. Phillip Randolph and the Brotherhood of Sleeping-Car Porters this weekend. Starring in the title role is Andre Braugher, an actor whose work I quite like. Don't have premium cable though, so I wont be seeing it this weekend.

I was curious if anyone knew whose equipment was used for the train shots? I understand they were filmed in Canada...

Speaking of Canada, there was a book up for bid on eBay recently that related the story of Canadian train porters, so someone has taken the time to record that story. I wish I had written down the title, author, and publisher.

South Simcoe Railway's equipment was used for most of the train scenes in this picture. It was shot last spring in the Toronto area.
