Post subject:  B&O Museum Founders Weekend March 2-3

The B&O Railroad Museum is kicking off its celebration of the 175th anniversary of the B&O RR with Founders Weekend March 2-3.

Highlights will include the debut of a new exhibit of pictures from the National Portrait Gallery in DC of great railroad barons; free train rides, "Living History" reenactors in period dress, music, etc. all in the $8 admission price (children 2-12 $5).

Note: The B&O Museum has completely revamped or replaced its 40-year-old entrance hall exhibits, so it should be a new experience. Also, we expect some kind of announcement regarding the plans for the Fair of the Iron Horse next July--as in, whether they will pull through with the proposed extravaganza intended to rival the CSRM Railfairs.
