Post subject:  Car 57 project updated

Hi to all

I have just uploaded some new pictures of more windows fitted to the car this week, and the original window that we uncovered too. We are getting quotes now for accurate milled siding and oak window sills. The car has to be sided before next winter as we have a really good structurally sound 122 year old, but this last winter took its toll. We are launching an appeal to raise funds for this work if you feel you could help.
Thanks

Mike,
Nice to see another Pullman car being given some TLC.
Your site has prompted me to start a fotopic site for the Pullman sleeper being restored in Canberra, Australia.
Site address is bobhall998.fotopic.net
I'm still trying to sort some bugs out with it, like getting the photos in correct chronological order and getting the car's story to appear on the site.
In the meantime, if you'd like to converse, my email is bob.hall1@lycos.com.
Regards, Bob
