He may still draw, but our numbers were off this year compared to previous years. It looks like people are still willing to take JR to see Thomas. The interesting thing is that the merchandise sales were way down. I think that is where people enconomized. Settle for a T-shirt and maybe a little engine and shut up. No big layout this year.

Our ticket sales for the DOWT event at the Elgin County Railway Museum in St. Thomas, Ontario in late July are up about 35% from last year at this time. I highly doubt we will ever reach the numbers we did our first year in 2005 (25,000), but we have been well above the break even point every year.
