Okay folks, all of those posts about powerhouses got me checking around Wilmington, DE for old trolley powerhouses. So ofter consulting a few old maps and about ten bucks worth of gas I struck gold! There is not only a powerhouse but office and shop all still in place in Wilmington. The powerhouse building is an appliance dealer and I had purchased a microwave oven there a few years ago. Boy was i shocked I missed out on it then! I put together a small photo essay which can be found at Forgotten Delaware. Please check it out, I would love to get some feedback.
