Hi folks,

Despite being a V&T Reconstruction gadfly, I can see the positive side of things too. Things are looking up!

At yesterday's meeting it looks like the impasse has been broken. Now instead of the V&T Commission working directly with the Gray's Virginia and Truckee Railroad, the Carson City Convention and Visitor's Bureau has been / will be granted a usage agreement, and they will then negotiate with the Gray's V&T to run some special trains this year.

Things are looking up, for meeting notes written by a third party go see http://www.goldhillnv.org/GHHS_2009_Jun_Commission.htm item #12.

The title of this thread made me hope that the impasse on the tracks just happened to be an early 1980s Mercury station wagon, just like the New Hope Valley thread.
