Hello All I'm going on my semi annual steam safari this summer. This year I'm visiting the Heber Valley, Nevada Northern, Nevada State and the real (as in running) V&T RR. Anybody here working at the railroads out there between the last weekend of June and the first week of July? Nothing I enjoy more then meeting RYPN'ers when I'm on the road. Dave Crosby |

UP 2-8-0 No. 618 (in 1920s dress) will be pulling both the 3-hour "Provo Canyon Limited" (11:00 a.m.) and the 90-minute "Soldier Hollow Express" (3:00 p.m.) on June 26th and 27th. Other than on 6/26, I should be around. 618 is also scheduled to operate those trains on July 17th and 18th, as well as August 7th and 8th. Craig |

Great! I planned my itinerary around the 618 that week, I'll definitely look you up! Dave |

I don't work for the (REAL) V&T but in the past the owner Tom Gray has given traveling railfans a shop tour. If you're interested I can try to get a hold of him, but he's pretty busy around the 4th of July. Additionally, if you're going to Virginia City on a weekday afternoon or on a weekend, I am way overdue for a visit to Virginia City. I could take you down to the shops if Tom's not around. Let me know, my phone number is 775 229-1818 Jim Lohse Train Arts |
