Following a growing obsession with the Knox and Kane, does anyone have any photos of the steam trains in operation. I've had a few people help me out, a few of which I have lost contact with before ever receiving information or images. I'm interested in home videos as well. I'm mainly looking for images of there steam passenger runs.

I'm also interested in obtaining photos of their coaches, as they each seem to have colored and interesting histories. At least half of the fleet was made up of former LIRR "ping pong" cars, and the other half of MU cars off formerly of Erie Lackawanna and after that New Jersey Transit (I believe). There were other cars, including a double decker open air car and two or three other single level open air cars converted from various equipment by Sloan Cornell and his crew. There was at least one other unidentified coach that looked similar to the "ping pong" cars, but in photographs was noticeably taller. There was, of course, the R.P.O. that stood out against the rest of the equipment. Was this used as a commissary? Does anyone have information on the history of these different cars and how Knox and Kane came to have them? Then finally, does anyone know where they all have gone? What happened to the "ping pong" that was converted to a cafe car, with the glass windows on one side simply painted orange?

If you use the search feature on this forum, you will find that much of the information you are seeking has previously been discussed. In addition, there is a yahoo group dedicated to the Knox & Kane and related railroads http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/knoxandkanerr/ and I would suggest you post your questions there.
