For those who might be interested... the first in a series of articles about rebuilding a diesel engine from the RMNE locomotive maintenance staff, along with pictures, has been posted on the blog.

Engine 103, a Baldwin light 2-6-2 ex Sumter & Choctaw, successfully made the road trip from the Valley RR to the RMNE's Naugatuck RR this afternoon and evening. By 10:00pm it had been unloaded and put away at its new "retirement home."
