Just wondering how the rebuild is going and if there are any new photos of the repaired boiler and running gear.

Of course, The California State Parks Railtown site (home of No 3) at Jamestown is currently on the list of 200 some state parks scheduled to be closed. The Sacramento facility is one of the few operated by the state to stay open if the current budget crisis continues.

I suspect, but don't know that if the State stops supporting Railtown, the CSRM foundation will continue some presence.

The Govenator (not to be confused with El Gobernador, an 1883 4-10-0 built by A J Stevens in the Sacramento Shops of the Central Pacific/Southern Pacific) has targeted our state park system as a message to the public...
