As a continuation of the previous post, do any of the ex-Louisville PCC Cars survive? I know that only one or two even made it off of the flatcar, before Louisville Transit Co. decided to go to buses. I know most were sold to Cleveland. How long did they last? Thanks again.

There is exactly one ex-Louisville PCC in existence. Toronto Transportation Commission #4684, formerly Cleveland Transit System #4259, formerly Louisville Street Railway #509, is at the Halton County Radial Railway near Toronto (www.hcry.org).

Halton County has kept the car primarily as a parts source. As far as I know, HCRR has no plans to restore the car and the car is not part of the permanent collection.
