As I read through the posts here and on other boards, I think it is a wonderful tribute to a man who has touched so many. It is evident that he went above and beyond the call of duty to make make folks feel at home on the UP and it is clear that he was a credit to the railroad. I regret that I was never able to meet him.

At the risk of going out of bounds, perhaps, someday down the road, the UP might see fit to name a car the 'Reed Jackson'? He demonstrated what is best about railroaders and such an honor would clearly be in order ...

Respectfully,
Burlington John
