I found this while browsing YouTube earlier....seems the S.A.R. 520 class was inspired by the Loewy designed T1's. I must say, they look pretty impressive! I wonder if there's any good video footage of them running at speed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H49fwPJJMlY |

I think 520 was down with a mangled superheater header / front end throttle assembly when I was down under. Can't lay hands on my pics at present. SteamRanger was a nice days ride appealing to the general public as well as diehards. dave |
