Are there any surviving W & LE steam locomotives besides the 3960 (Minerva Ohio) and 3984 (Wellington Ohio)?

I know of no other W&LE steam locomotives that survived. A shame.

BTW, when we were out to visit the L&WV a couple of years ago, there was a plan afoot to restore the 3984 (NKP 384) cosmetically, and possibly, to operation. Can you advise what is going on with this?

I know this is an old post but there is one more. Seaboard Air Line 544. She was a Russian decapod supposed to go over seas but because of the revolution that occurred over there, she was sold to the W&LE first in 1918 as their 1088. It seems they didn't care for her that much cause she only lasted until 1920. Detroit, Toledo and Ironton then had her for 15 years as their 311 and then to the Seaboard for almost the remainder of her career. At the very end, she worked for the Gainesville Midland until that railroad was acquired by the Seaboard for the last couple. Pretty neat career. But her 1st 2 years of service was on the Wheeling.

Drove by the LW&V site at Wellington yesterday, and the 0-6-0 still sits about 300' North of the grade crossing on SR 18, looking about like it did the last time I went through there about a year ago.

NKP 763 has a set of roller bearing tender trucks from one of the W&LE 2-8-4's, so that's at least a piece of another W&LE locomotive that survived.
