Saw this come through;

At one point I would have never thought of an F-40 kicking around on short lines. One day we'll see them parked in the middle of a playground.

Something funky about the 245-the inertial filters are plated over and the cooling fans are missing.

I also don't see any exhaust stacks...

Likely a slug. SL&RG acquired a number of F40s. Some were runners, some were not much more than car bodies. The plan, when I was last in Dnasville, at least a year ago, was to make three mother-slug combinations. Somewhere I have the other F40 numbers for the project. Another F40,Can-Am 453 was on site, but I believe there were issues with that unit and it was not going to be used.

According to a SL&RG official, 245 is, indeed, a slug.
