M.S. Rau Antiques of New Orleans, LA ran an ad in the August 17, 2009 edition of The Wall Street Journal promoting the work of British artist Terence Tenison Cuneo. The painting shown in the ad depicts a diesel slogging away in a snow scene. M. S. Rau's website www.rauantiques.com makes no mention of the artwork in the ad. A Google search produced these sample's of Cuneo's high energy and highly detailed work.

Somewhere I have a book of his early work - I particularly remember a painting showing an old mechanic working out his final years hand painting the faces on pressure gages. Lots of great British rail everyday scenes that capture the atmosphere.
