My Father just recently acquired an N&W J Class loco from a friend of his that he kitbashed from other engines in his collection of parts. Its a Lionel 3 track engine and it runs perfectly. Only problem is, my Father has no place to run it; no layout to run it on.
My Father wants to properly display it so I mentioned to him that he should put it on stationary rollers with the track cut away so it can work and run the running gear without the need for a layout...just have a running engine, standing still.
I could do the track project for him, but there's a problem. I don't ever recall seeing a set of rollers specifically for a Lionel 3 track engine. Are they out there and where can I find them?
