The CRHS recently scored a victory against the ravages of the scrap bin. NS has been replacing signals out in Ohio, and we knew the CR era setup in Berea was going to be coming down. We had all our plans lined up and when the call came, our members snapped into action and saved a number of signals and other hardware that would've otherwise ended up becoming razor blades. Photos and info here: http://thecrhs.org/?q=preservationproje ... ea-signals It's not as exciting as finding a K4, but it's still a win for the good guys! |

Visited Horseshoe Curve last week and noticed a new signal bridge has been erected on the east side of the curve, but it was turned sideways to the ROW. Bob |

Thanks for the heads up Bob! I guess it's time to dispatch another crew... |
