Post subject: | Help Wanted: Restoration Woodworker |
Greetings: I would be most interested in hearing from a skilled woodworker interested in assisting on a fairly major conservation/restoration project. The project will probably begin this spring. I expect that the woodworking portion thereof will take about two (fairly intensive) months. A good bit of the work will involve heavy wood framing, experience with "post and beam" or wooden boat construction would be helpful. Since one of our goals is to conserve as much of the original as possible, experience with "West System" would be helpful as well. (check out www.westsystem.com) It is hoped that whoever we hire will have their own woodworking tools. Project location is in the southwest. Salary plus expenses for the term of the project. Qualified individuals please contact Dave Conrad at 860-767-2021 (Valley RR) or 304-738-1022 (Western Maryland Scenic RR) prior to the end of March. Thank you. J. David jdconrad@snet.net |
