Group,
I don't think I have posted this here before but I am now. I have been at work on this sire for a few years with my friend Jim Otto. The past year we have been tweaking it and revising pages. One of our long time goal is to make a complete roster of all Jordan's built, but with over 1400, you do the math.. So, we started with the preserved ones. http://trainweb.org/JordanSpreader/preserved.htm Also new, is a page of Jordan Patents: http://trainweb.org/JordanSpreader/patents.htm

If anyone has anything we can add to the site, please let us know, should it be photos, prints, etc. Full credit always given.

Thanks,
Paul S.

Paul -

Just for the record, Illinois Central X9151 at the Monticello Railway Museum was actually purchased by two MRM members and brought to the museum. Later, one of the gentlemen sold his half interest to the museum, but the other half of the car is still privately owned.

This is a wonderful idea. I wish you much success with your effort.

I think you wil find that the NN has a couple of spreaders and the GCR has an old Kennecott spreader on the property.
