| Post subject: | Wagner sleeping car 'Omaha' in Cheyenne |
We have now established beyond reasonable doubt that we have the 1866 10 section drawing room and sleeping car 'Omaha' built for the Wagner Palace car Co by an unknown builder to floorplan 3003 (Pullman drawing number), discovered in a back yard in Cheyenne. However we have begun a maintenance fund to keep the car as water tight and secure as possible until at a future time we can remove and accomodate it in our restoration program. If anyone would like to contribute to this and see this historic and beautiful car preserved for future generations please feel free to contact me offline. michael.pannell@btinternet.com We understand that we already have funds running for the car 57 project as well, but these things never arise at convenient times do they ?? Any help would be greatfully recieved and is tax deductible too !! |
