Hi everyone. Came across these two pictures and thought I'd share. Not really preservation I guess, but I figured they were worth submittal.

Probably the most unusual speeder I've ever seen.

I'm assuming a bus because more room for crew?

I do believe Delaware's Historic Red Clay Valley has just merged Mr. Marshall's Auburn Valley live-steam layout with the Wilmington & Western.............

Or how about enough room to make sure you brought the right parts, by bringing EVERY part with you? (Part of why the PCC work car lasted as long as it did on SEPTA in Philly.........)

That bus looks like it can fold out into a very large high level platform. Specially built perhaps for an underpass project. Room in the bus for the workers, supplies, lunch and such.

When I drove a school bus, mine didn't have all that fancy gear on it.

That "school bus" thingie was used to repair the overhead plenum in Chicago Union Station. The length of the bus allowed the workers to walk back and forth while applying the concrete to the ceiling.
