My wife, who is originally from Portsmouth NH, looked at the photo and commented on the big "cowcatcher". I noted that considering the native fauna of Maine and New Hampshire, the pilot structure might be a "moosecatcher". Big kudos for the Seashore crew that took a sorry-looking relic and turned the calendar back 100 years to when trolley lines were a "growth industry". |
