As noted by the photographer (who I think posts here) she is looking a bit weather beaten.

In the cars behind the engine is a small local museum, with a large section dedicated to local boy Tim Horton. When I was there about 6 years ago there was also a steam engine sitting in the yard nearby. The depot nearby is now a hotel, and the ONR passenger trains leave from it.

I've never caught the museum open, so I don't know what it's like or even if it's still in business. Those cars don't look to be in much better shape than the engine. As for the station it does indeed boast a hotel which has always been fully booked whenever I tried to get a room there. The restaurant on the west end also does brisk business and serves a pretty decent breakfast. The station has undergone many alterations since it's construction almost 100 years ago. An interesting read can be found here http://cnr-in-ontario.com/Reports/index ... R-196.html I haven't seen the other steamer but I do believe it is mentioned in my (2008 version) Canadian Trackside Guide. If anyone knows where this is presently located I'll try to put it on my "to do" list for next year.
